Gallagher Security wins top honours for supply & sustainability

Gallagher Security received both the Supplier of the Year and Sustainability Award at the Advanced Group's Annual Supplier Awards.

Gallagher Security was recognised for its performance and responsible business practices by Advanced Security, one of New Zealand's largest providers of electronic security solutions for corporate and government sectors.

According to Wayne Scott, General Manager Sales – New Zealand at Gallagher Security, the awards highlight the value of partnerships within the security supply sector. He said,

The ceremony, which marked the 11th anniversary of the Annual Supplier Awards, was held at the Rumera Club and focused on recognising suppliers for their impact on customer outcomes across the country.

The Supplier of the Year award was determined through a nationwide evaluation by Advanced Security's team, who assessed companies based on several criteria. These included product quality, shipping efficiency, technical support, ordering experience, lead management, market relationships, and repair services.

Gallagher Security's operational standards in these areas were found to align with Advanced Security's expectations, as evidenced by the supplier's track record of service and support.

The Sustainability Award was presented to Gallagher Security due to its approach to environmental and ethical practices. This included embedding sustainability into business operations, designing energy-efficient products, and providing integrated security and building management solutions that help customers limit their environmental impact.

Efforts cited included strategies to lower energy consumption, extend product lifespan, and use recyclable materials. Gallagher Security also enables customers to reduce energy usage by integrating security systems with building automation. According to the company, these integrations have supported organisations in reducing energy use by up to 30%, eliminating plastic waste by moving away from physical access cards, and improving indoor environments by monitoring air quality.

Wayne Scott added another comment regarding the company's sustainability ambitions.
