Gallagher Security introduced a new experience zone at the SecTech NZ Roadshow, presenting it during the event's run across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

The space showed visitors how its AccessNow and Command Centre products work in a live environment. Attendees were guided through demonstrations covering access control, visitor management, mobile credentials and software integrations.

According to Gallagher, SecTech NZ drew more than 1,100 security professionals across the three cities. The event is one of New Zealand's main gatherings for the security sector, bringing together suppliers, consultants, channel partners and end users.

The new area was designed to offer a practical demonstration rather than a standard stand display. A central feature was AccessNow, which attendees could test by submitting a live access request and then watching it be approved and provisioned in Command Centre.

Gallagher also used the roadshow to discuss recent updates to Command Centre and AccessNow, aimed at current security operations and site management requirements.

Wayne Scott, General Manager - New Zealand Sales, said the event helped Gallagher gather market feedback while meeting industry contacts in person.

"SecTech NZ continues to be an important event for the New Zealand security industry, creating opportunities for meaningful conversations with channel partners, consultants and end users across the country," Scott said.

He said the roadshow also allowed the company to reconnect with existing contacts and meet new participants in the sector.

"It was great to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new industry professionals, and demonstrate how Gallagher's solutions continue to evolve to help organisations strengthen security, improve efficiency, and prepare for the future," Scott said.

Live demonstration

The experience zone marked a different approach to how Gallagher presented its software and access systems at the event. Instead of relying on static product messaging, the company built the stand around a walkthrough that followed an access request from submission to approval.

Mickey Lee, Marketing and Events Specialist - New Zealand, said Gallagher wanted visitors to see those links in action.

"At the Gallagher stand, we brought our AccessNow and Command Centre solutions to life through our new experience zone," Lee said.

Lee described the demonstration path used at the stand.

"We guided attendees through a live walkthrough of how our systems connect across access control, visitor management, mobile credentials and integrations. The highlight was AccessNow, where attendees could try it first-hand by submitting a live access request before seeing it approved and provisioned in Command Centre instantly," Lee said.

The appearance at SecTech NZ gave Gallagher a platform in its home market, where buyers and advisers are weighing how to manage access across offices, industrial sites and mixed-use facilities.

Gallagher said the roadshow created opportunities for direct conversations about the challenges organisations are facing in security and site management, including operational pressures and the need to connect multiple systems in a workable way.

Gallagher's focus on AccessNow and Command Centre suggests it sees demand for tools that can link requests, approvals and site access within a single process.
