Jade Software has chosen a Gen-i cloud environment to host its latest mobile banking application solution.

Hosted on the ReadyCloud Server's infrastructure-as-a-service environment, the company says JOOB will help businesses innovate by designing and mobilising customer experiences.

Director of JOOB Strategy and Partners, Herman Rooseboom believes the explosion of smart devices means financial institutions need to focus on enhancing mobile banking experiences to attract and retain customers.

“Research shows that 42% of tablet and 39% of smartphone owners now use these devices for everyday banking,” he says.
