Mon, 16th Aug 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

We never thought we’d get away with posting images of pop stars on IT Brief, but here we are. Microsoft has released details of who’ll take to the stage on the evening of August 31st to entertain you all after a hard day’s TechFest.

The company explained, “With a Tech ‘Fiesta’ theme, this is going to be a night to remember with headline act Gin Wigmore taking to the stage along with Midnight Youth and President Gas. Comedian Steve Wrigley is our MC for the night, sharing his hilarious stand-up lines along the way.”

Everyone who registers for the main TechEd event will automatically receive tickets to TechFest.

Extra tickets are available to buy for $150 on request if your other half won’t let you go and watch Gin on your own. Light food and drinks will also be served throughout the evening.

Register for TechEd here if you haven’t already.

TechFest takes place on Tuesday 31 August, from 6.30pm to 11.00pm, at the Auckland Town Hall.
