Whether you are a small mom - pop outlet offering cooking lessons online, or a fortune 500 with a market for delivering remote IT support to users, Google's new ‘HelpOuts' technology launched in beta this week.

The service is based on the Hangouts, which has risen to fame on Google+ as a competitor to the likes of FaceTime and Skype. HelpOuts adds this technology and allows you to interact with a Yellow Pages-like directory of companies or individuals whom are available to offer paid-for services in return for their skills.

Google are sending out invitations to beta test now and are accepting requests to join for those that are interested in getting on the bandwagon early, over at their website. It is not immediately clear when the service will launch to the general public.
