Green Light appoints new NZ Business Development Manager
Green Light has appointed Kumar Swaminathan as the new Business Development Manager for New Zealand. Swaminathan is described as an accomplished professional with a well-established regional network.
Marty Bennett, Green Light New Zealand Country Manager, says the company is thrilled to welcome Swaminathan and believes the new appointment will help create an enhanced working environment and successful business outcomes.
"I'd like to welcome Kumar onboard, it was easy, we met, we clicked & Kumar started with us a few weeks later," he says.
"It's the benefit of doing business with a flat structured business, I report to the owner & CEO Gary Hinksman, we can get things done & approved quickly & the work underway. It's how we roll, minimum stress & bureaucracy, maximum activity."
Swaminathan is described as a proficient IT professional with over 20 years of experience, recording various achievements and successes throughout his professional career.
He received the Super Achiever award in 2009 at a major New Zealand telco for converting D-Level clients to A-Level clients. He was also the founder of an inbound destination management tourism start-up business that grew YoY by 200% in an industry in which he had zero to little connections.
The company says it is clear that Swaminathan consistently overachieved in all his roles, and he has demonstrated capabilities and qualities of professionalism and leadership, further nurturing organisations to achieve business values through technology-leveraged solutions.
His experience spans several roles and functional areas, including business development, sales management, and BDM operations. Specialising in driving and delivering outcome-based results within the Managed Service line, Swaminathan has decided to utilise these skills and move into a Business Development role at Green Light Worldwide to help expand the company's current ANZ market.
