Former Axon CEO Scott Green (pictured) has begun life in the role of Director of IT Management Auckland at Datacom.

Green will be based in the Datacom Vincent St offices and will be responsible for the Auckland staff delivering IT management solutions to businesses and government agencies and will sit on the Datacom NZ Executive team.

“In considering where to work next, I was looking for a company that demonstrated growth, strong market leadership and continued innovation. I was also looking for somewhere where I could bring my expertise and contribute to that growth and innovation. My experience in professional and managed services and more recently, the development of cloud services offerings fits this role perfectly,” said Green.

Upon completion of the Axon Integral merger in May, Green told IT Brief, “I’ve already had a number of approaches both in New Zealand and overseas.

"I’m still a shareholder of the business and have got a positive outcome from that point of view as well. I’m looking forward to a bit of a break and then getting back into it.”
