HP has invested in Singapore-based AI audio startup Wubble.ai, a deal that will bring Wubble.ai's audio creation app to HP AI PCs.

The investment links Wubble.ai's software to HP's consumer AI PC portfolio and forms part of HP's Garage 2.0 startup programme in Singapore. The arrangement is structured around five milestones covering build, deploy and scale, allowing HP to unlock up to 5% equity in Wubble.ai as those milestones are met.

Wubble.ai develops an edge-based app that lets users generate royalty-free music, AI voices and sound effects from text prompts. It is designed to run on devices as well as in the cloud, a model hardware companies are increasingly backing as they look to demonstrate practical uses for AI-enabled personal computers.

HP is presenting the move as an example of how startups in its Garage 2.0 scheme can progress from early development to broader customer access. Wubble.ai was part of the programme's inaugural cohort, launched in Singapore to support startup growth and AI development.

The collaboration will expand customer access across parts of Asia-Pacific through eligible HP consumer PCs and gaming products. The initial rollout covers Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea and Australia.

Hybrid AI

The partnership comes as PC makers and software companies look for AI applications that do not rely solely on remote computing infrastructure. In audio creation, on-device processing can reduce latency and keep some workloads closer to the user, while cloud systems can support other tasks.

Growing demand for digital content has created a market for tools that cut the cost and complexity of producing original audio. Businesses and creators often use several tools to source music, manage rights, record voiceovers and create sound effects, while smaller organisations may lack dedicated production resources.

Wubble.ai aims to simplify that process through a conversational interface that lets users describe the sound they want, generate options and refine results within one platform. Potential uses include videos, livestreams, presentations, podcasts, marketing materials and customer-facing content.

"The future of AI will be hybrid. Not every AI workload belongs in the cloud, and as AI moves closer to the device, the PC is evolving from a passive productivity tool into a more intelligent access point for new experiences," said Ketan Patel, President, Personal Systems, HP Inc. "With Wubble.ai, we are bringing practical AI audio creation to the devices people already use, helping creators, professionals and small businesses turn ideas into richer content and experiences. This is also what HP Garage 2.0 was designed to do: help Singapore-based AI startups turn innovation into customer-ready solutions that can scale across the region."

Regional rollout

Garage 2.0 launched in Singapore in 2025 as HP's innovation platform for AI startups. The programme has since expanded to South Korea, underscoring Singapore's role as an early testbed for startup partnerships that can be rolled out more widely across the region.

For Wubble.ai, the deal offers a route into consumer distribution through a large device maker's installed base. For HP, it provides an application-level use case for AI PCs at a time when manufacturers are under pressure to show why consumers and smaller businesses should pay attention to a new generation of AI-labelled devices.

The commercial arrangement includes a complimentary three-month subscription to Wubble.ai with eligible purchases of selected HP consumer PCs or gaming peripherals during the launch offer period. Eligible product lines include HP OmniBook, HP All-in-One, OMEN, HyperX Omen and HyperX gaming peripherals, though product availability and offer terms vary by market.

Wubble.ai said its aim is to make audio creation more accessible to a broader group of users, not just specialist producers. The startup argues that sound is becoming an increasingly important part of digital output across social platforms, business communications and online media.

"As people create more content across more channels, audio is the critical differentiator that makes truly exceptional ideas stand out," said Anand Roy, Founder and CEO, Wubble.ai. "Wubble.ai was built to make music, voice and sound generation intuitive, easy and enriching, not a tedious, specialist production process. Working with HP allows us to introduce that experience through the devices people already rely on and democratize music and audio creation in a way that wasn't possible before."
