HP breaks 'innovation gridlock'
Wed, 12th May 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

New solutions and services unveiled that help organisations shift IT spending from operations to innovation, says HP.

Research conducted on behalf of HP says that one out of every two business executives feels their companies suffer from “innovation gridlock,” in which companies can’t drive new innovation because their funds are consumed by current operating costs.

HP says its new offerings break this ‘IT innovation gridlock’ by creating self-funding projects, architecting new solutions for change and freeing up funds trapped in operations.

“In this era of constant change, breaking the innovation gridlock can mean the difference between being a market maker or a follower,” said Paul Brandling, Vice President and Managing Director, HP South Pacific. “With HP, CIOs can capitalise on change by reclaiming funds locked in operations to drive new innovation projects.”

HP is offering qualified clients a free HP Applications Modernisation Transformation Experience session, which it says enables organisations to experience modernisation and its benefits.
