Humanforce appoints Liam McNeill to drive international growth

Wed, 3rd Dec 2025

Humanforce has appointed Liam McNeill as Senior Vice President International, as the company seeks to expand its presence in EMEA and North America. The newly created role is based in the UK and marks a step towards targeting larger, enterprise customers in industries with shift-based workforces.

Leadership addition

McNeill brings over 20 years of experience in workforce management and HR technology. His background includes roles at UKG, SAP, and BP. Humanforce's decision to create this position aligns with its efforts to serve enterprise clients managing complex frontline operations.

McNeill will be responsible for deepening customer partnerships and supporting the company's push into larger organisations. He will also help drive the adoption of Humanforce's AI-powered workforce management platform in international markets.

Sector focus

The appointment comes at a time when frontline-intensive industries, such as hospitality, healthcare, and sports venues, are seeking software solutions tailored to their unique requirements. These sectors deal with ongoing challenges tied to compliance, complex schedules, and fluctuating demand, requiring tools that can address operational complexity efficiently.

McNeill said the Humanforce platform offers an alternative to traditional systems, aiming to support the entire employee journey from hiring to pay.

"Humanforce has been purpose-built for frontline workforces from day one, not retrofitted from traditional enterprise systems," said Liam McNeill, Senior Vice President International, Humanforce. "The team is creating a connected employee journey from hiring through to workforce optimisation to pay. Plus, AI that actually learns from how your workforce operates - predicting demand, optimising schedules, driving productivity."

Market demand

The demand for intelligent human capital management platforms is increasing globally, particularly among organisations managing large, distributed workforces. Technology that can support productivity, compliance, and workforce engagement is highly sought after as labour costs rise and regulatory requirements become more stringent.

Humanforce's HCM suite includes workforce management, HR, talent acquisition, and pay functionality. Its customers span sectors such as healthcare, childcare, retail, hospitality, events, and local government. The company reports a client base of over 2,300 organisations and operations in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the Philippines, and the US.

Clayton Pyne, Chief Executive Officer of Humanforce, said McNeill's appointment brings experience required to support larger businesses and drive international expansion.

"Liam brings a rare combination of global perspective, enterprise capability and frontline workforce expertise to Humanforce. His leadership will accelerate our international expansion as we move upmarket and support larger, more complex organisations. With global demand rising for intelligent HCM platforms that can optimise shift-based operations at scale, Liam's experience will help us capitalise on that opportunity and deliver even greater value to our international customers," said Pyne.
