iManage integrates its AI with Microsoft Copilot to boost productivity

Thu, 23rd May 2024

iManage has announced the integration of its AI services with Microsoft's Copilot, marking a significant advancement in the partnership between the two firms. This integration is designed to enhance the experience for knowledge workers by combining the capabilities of both platforms.

The iManage and Microsoft Copilot plug-in bridges the Microsoft 365 environment with content managed by the iManage Knowledge Work platform. This connection allows AI to provide grounded responses within the context of an organisation's existing work while maintaining user security protocols. Users can leverage these generative AI tools to expedite decision-making and improve stakeholder collaboration.

iManage's early adopter programme is actively engaging innovative customers to validate the business impact and develop strategies for change management. The programme is intended to ensure that the integration meets the practical needs of its users.

iManage has been selected as an ISV to participate in Microsoft Build 2024, the annual developer conference taking place in Seattle, Washington. Attendees will have the opportunity to observe the capabilities of the iManage Copilot integration firsthand. Additionally, Microsoft will have a significant presence at ConnectLive 2024, iManage's annual user conference. Notably, Jeff Markowitz, Microsoft's General Manager for Enterprise Software and Digital Platforms, will join iManage CEO Neil Araujo in a fireside chat during the New York portions of the event. This session will focus on the customer benefits resulting from the deep integration between Microsoft 365 and the iManage platform.

Neil Araujo, CEO of iManage, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "The iManage Copilot plug-in shows our shared dedication to empowering professionals with cutting-edge technology while removing friction from their workflows and delivering on the promise of AI." The company's participation in major tech events underscores its commitment to advancing intelligent collaboration through innovative solutions.

The iManage cloud platform is entirely built on Microsoft Azure, offering scalability, resilience, performance, and security benefits. This architecture supports seamless cloud-to-cloud integration with Office 365 features like Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Copilot. Users benefit from advanced Office 365 functionalities such as real-time co-authoring across various devices, with all changes automatically saved to the iManage platform.

iManage's integration with Microsoft also extends to tools like Microsoft Power Automate, enabling customers to automate administrative and user-driven processes with minimal coding. Actions and results within Power Automate are managed directly within the iManage platform, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity.

Attendees of ConnectLive 2024 will have the chance to see these capabilities in action and learn more about iManage's AI strategy, including the pivotal role of its partnership with Microsoft. This event will also shed light on iManage's product roadmap and future developments.
