Integrated CMS a winner for Sitecore
Web content management vendors Sitecore have reported massive worldwide growth in their latest financial results, on the back of its integrated Content Management System (CMS).
Sitecore Group revenue was up by 50% in the fiscal 2010/2011 compared with the prior fiscal year, the company says. EBITDA profit was up 30%, and employee headcount grew by 40%.
Michael Seifert, CEO of Sitecore, says the company’s success is built on a market shift from stand-alone content management platforms to systems that integrate eCommerce, marketing automation and analytics.
"It requires more than a CMS to manage customer communications on the new internet and drive business success,” Seifert says.
"Our customers and partners have been very enthusiastic about the accelerated pace of results our web platform brings to sales and marketing initiatives. It’s beyond anything they have worked with previously.”
Sitecore’s solutions are deployed by more than 2500 customers, and power 32,000 websites.
In New Zealand, Sitecore has over 10 partners, from the nationwide Datacom to boutique companies such as Tauranga-based Cucumber. Customers include Barfoot & Thompson and the Ministry of Education.
