Intergen supports whistleblowers

FYI, this story is more than a year old

Kiwi solution provider Intergen is looking to boost its presence in Australia and New Zealand, taking up a three-year deal to sponsor the umpires in the trans-Tasman netball league, the ANZ Championship.

Due to begin on March 31, the competition follows 10 teams from Australia and New Zealand through 14 rounds of competition and a finals series. This will be the competition’s fifth year, with the title still yet to go to a kiwi team.

Despite this poor record, Intergen director Wayne Forgesson says the deal is a logical fit for the company.

"The role of Intergen ANZ Championship umpires is much like an information technology solution within a business,” Forgesson says.

"Essential to have but not often recognised.”
