This year's IT Showcase Asia 2010 event will discuss whether it's time to save or spend in the IT sector.

The conference will be held on May 18 and May 19 at Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur and organisers believe it will draw a global audience from the public and corporate sectors from all around the world, particularly Asia.

Project Manager, Wong Mee Len, explained, “The theme of this conference is very timely and in motion. It is important to explain to players the current situation of information technology and what should and can be done to ensure efficiency of systems of their companies".

The conference will feature Eric Lauzon, Chief Information Officer of the International Baccalaureate as well as talks from other regional IT experts. Topics include data protection, virtualisation, mobile applications, portfolio management, IT governance and risk and compliance among others.
