Kiwi firm Livelink links up with Oz email solutions provider
Livelink Connect has merged with the Australian operations of Rocketseed, a London headquartered international provider of email media and branding solutions.
The deal delivers Livelink Connect an established Australian team, expanded product portfolio and new distribution channels.
The new company, Rocketseed Asia Pacific, has sales offices in Auckland and Sydney, Asia Pacific territory rights to enterprise level products and development support from Rocketseed in London, New York and Johannesburg.
Livelink Connect founders Jason Roberts and Craig Pownall become CEO and CTO respectively of Rocketseed Asia Pacific, while Rocketseed International’s Chairman, John Cooper, will join its Board.
Both companies say the move formalises an existing technology and marketing partnership between the companies.
Rocketseed has integrated LiveLink technologies into its overall platform, creating a complementary solution which is successfully addressing the brand compliance, link tracking and personalised content delivery needs of businesses, particularly in financial services, real estate and tourism industries.
“With Rocketseed focused on the Enterprise market, we now have additional scale, Board expertise and a richer product set to support larger customers," says Jason Roberts, CEO, Rocketseed Asia Pacific.
"New Zealand customers will benefit from Rocketseed’s established support systems and experience servicing larger organisations, giving us a great platform to grow our business throughout Asia Pacific.
"Our Livelink Connect offering continues as the primary brand for smaller and mid-sized companies."
Other product developments include CRM integration, business process automation solutions and the planned release on Salesforce.com’s APPExchange.
“Businesses of all sizes continue to search for efficient, innovative ways to manage, and then leverage, their corporate employee email systems. We have a wonderful relationship with Livelink Connect’s team and I look forward to capitalising on new opportunities for our products,” says John Cooper, Chairman, Rocketseed.
Livelink Connect, a graduate of The ICEHOUSE also raised additional funding from existing ICEAngels shareholders to support the next stage of its growth in Australia.
“Livelink successfully validated the market for their products in New Zealand and is now set to fast track its expansion with a proven international player, including new Board level contribution. It’s great to see the team executing on their vision to grow overseas,” adds Andy Hamilton, CEO, The ICEHOUSE.
