Microsoft Australia has named Pip Marlow (pictured) its new Managing Director, after Tracey Fellows moved on to become Area Vice President for Microsoft Asia Pacific back in December 2010.

Previously, Marlow held the joint role of Enterprise and Partner Group Director and Public Sector Director, Microsoft Australia, reporting directly to Fellows.

Marlow was born, raised and educated in Palmerston North, New Zealand and now lives in Sydney.

She joined Microsoft Australia in 1996 in the Partner team with responsibility for Anti-Piracy efforts, System Builder Channel and Distribution strategy.

In 1997 she made the move to the Microsoft mothership in the US for eight years and held key roles in the OEM and Partner divisions.

“I’m excited to take on the opportunity to lead the Australian subsidiary,” said Marlow. “It’s a time of significant change for our industry and Microsoft as businesses and consumers move to the cloud. I’m looking forward to leading an already-strong team to achieve great results for our customers and partners.”
