KnowBe4 unveils AI-focused HRM+ for human risk management

Today

KnowBe4 has announced the launch of HRM+, a human risk management platform designed to address cybersecurity risk management for the AI era.

The introduction of HRM+ marks KnowBe4's entry into the human risk management market and follows its acquisition of Egress.

The platform aims to tackle modern cybersecurity complexities by combining security awareness training, AI-powered email security, anti-phishing measures, real-time coaching, AI defence agents, and compliance training into a single platform.

The need for enhanced cybersecurity measures is underscored by a recent study conducted by KnowBe4, revealing that 62% of organisations have experienced one or more cyber incidents due to human risk in the past year.

The report highlights users clicking on malicious links or attachments as a significant issue, affecting 96% of organisations surveyed.

Stu Sjouwerman, CEO of KnowBe4, commented on the current cybersecurity landscape, stating, "Given the rapid evolution of today's most prevalent cybersecurity threats, people remain the greatest point of vulnerability – and potentially the strongest defence – for any organisation's security."

"Our new human risk management platform, HRM+, builds on KnowBe4's reputation for excellence with 47 of the top 50 cybersecurity firms trusting our suite of offerings to defend their organisations," he added.

"This is a natural progression of KnowBe4's growth trajectory and cements our future plans to elevate our presence in this new market."

KnowBe4 emphasises the efficacy of security awareness training, with data suggesting a reduced likelihood of negative interactions with phishing attempts among well-trained individuals.

As of October 2024, the company boasts over 63,000 active customers in the U.S., with 98.2% not having suffered a public data breach.
