Kore.ai has announced the appointment of Richard Oldham as Head of Pre-Sales and Technology for Australia and New Zealand. This move aims to bolster the company's presence in the region. Richard Oldham will be based in Sydney and be responsible for providing technical support to pre-sales customer engagements and working closely with channel partners to maximise the value of Kore.ai's conversational AI technology deployments.

Oldham's new role also includes collaborating with Kore.ai's global technical teams to facilitate skill transfer, training, and project coordination. This initiative is part of the company’s strategy for a unified global technical support framework.

The appointee brings over two decades of IT industry experience to Kore.ai. Over his career, Oldham has been involved in developing and supporting a diverse range of technology solutions aimed at driving positive business outcomes. He has worked in environments ranging from start-ups to large multinational corporations.

Most recently, Oldham served as a Senior Solutions Consultant at Huawei Technologies. In this role, he was instrumental in cross-portfolio solution selling, providing expert consultative support across Huawei’s full suite of enterprise products and services. Prior to his stint at Huawei, Oldham spent over 15 years at Cisco Systems in various senior software and engineering roles. He eventually became a Solutions Practice Architect, where he coordinated the delivery of scalable and repeatable business solutions across various teams within the organisation.

Sreeni Unnamatla, Executive Vice President at Kore.ai, commented on the appointment, stating, “We are thrilled that Richard has joined Kore.ai at this time and look forward to the addition of his skills to support customer technical requirements and best practice industry consultation that will in turn accelerate our ability to scale and continuously deliver customer value.”

Reflecting on his new role, Richard Oldham said, “I'm extremely honoured and excited to be joining Kore.ai at a pivotal moment in the company's history as it continues to achieve rapid growth globally, as well as have an increased focus on the ANZ market. I look forward to working with our current and future customers and partners to allow them to leverage the market-leading capabilities of the Kore.ai platform, combining Conversational AI and Generative AI to drive business efficiencies and improved customer, employee and contact centre agent experiences.”
