FYI, this story is more than a year old

Unlimited Potential will host its second Wellington to the World (W2W) where technology companies can pitch themselves to a global audience. The event will be held in Wellington on November 17th at the Wellington Town Hall as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week and in addition to featured pitches, it will also have speeches from industry figures and a networking session. Richard MacManus, ReadWriteWeb blog founder, will be the keynote speaker and other speakers include entrepreneur and author Ben Young and John Watt, nanotechnology expert and MacDiarmind Young Scientist of the Year. “With its link-up with Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrations, we are hoping this year’s W2W will attract innovators, entrepreneurs and technology investors from all around New Zealand,” said Paul Spence, Unlimited Potential’s W2W Project Manager. The theme of this year’s free half-day event is ‘Going Global with Your Technology Business’. “Our aim is to support technology start-ups with great potential and grow our knowledge-based product and service offerings to the world,” Spence said. The local tech companies who pitch their businesses, will be filmed and the video footage will be circulated on the Unlimited Potential's YouTube channel and other online channels.
