Logitech issues demo for 'cube' mouse
Wed, 11th Jan 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Computing peripheral maker Logitech must be getting tired of the vacant stares its new Cube is getting at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, as the company has issued a video explaining how the unique interface device works.

In the video, Logitech brand manager Todd Walker shows how the device, which is about the size of a nine-volt battery, can be used as a mouse – with a tap on the top to click and a slide down the top to scroll – and also as a presentation pointer, with a tap to go forward and a tap with the device held upside down to go backward.

Check out the video below, and post your comments under that – is it a nifty piece of kit, or just a silly gimmick?
