Wed, 13th Jul 2022
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Nucleus Research has recognised M-Files as a Leader in its 2022 Content Services and Collaboration Value Matrix Report.

M-Files says the acknowledgement reaffirms its commitment to helping knowledge workers increase productivity and improve work quality by making information easy to find and use.

M-Files' metadata-based and repository agnostic platform allows users to manage and search for data irrespective of where it is stored.

In addition, the company's leadership has been strengthened by its strategic product advancements that make collaborating internally and externally more robust.

These advancements also boost the security and privacy of client documents and data and help customers meet compliance requirements, all of which has cemented the company's place in the content services and collaboration markets this year.

M-Files affords remote workforces the ability to easily manage, find and secure information.

Its metadata-driven document management platform seamlessly connects users with the content they need when they need it, enabling knowledge workers to instantly access the correct information in any context, automate business processes and enforce information control.

Nucleus Research evaluated content management vendors based on the usability, functionality, and value of their offerings to the user.

While market reports by other firms position vendors based on the analyst's opinions, Nucleus Research notes that its Nucleus Value Matrix evaluates vendors based on an analysis of actual end-user experiences that drive the value customers achieve from the offering.

"Being recognised as a Leader is a testament to our ability to ensure knowledge flows quickly, effortlessly, and securely," M-Files founder and CEO Antti Nivala says.

"M-Files' automated document management workflows increase the consistency of work product and reduce errors to drive better business outcomes.

"We are proud to help midsize and enterprise businesses gain a leading edge as they heighten work quality, reduce business risk, and enable superior customer experiences."

The Nucleus Research recognition comes after Gartner named M-Files a Customers' Choice in the March 2022 Gartner Peer Insights' Voice of the Customer: Content Services Platforms.
M-Files was one of five vendors to receive the above market average rating and Customers' Choice distinction.

The company was also recognised as a Customers' Choice in the Midsized Enterprise, Asia and Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa report segments.

As of March 31, 2022, 94% of Gartner Peer Insights respondents would recommend M-Files as a Content Services Platform, based on 62 reviews over the past twelve months.

M-Files has a 4.5 out of 5 overall Gartner Peer Insights rating, which the company believes reflects continued improvements in peer-sourced reviews on the M-Files platform.

M-Files was also named a Visionary in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms report and positioned furthest for Completeness of Vision in this quadrant.

The company received the highest score for the Information Governance Use Case and scored among the top three in all use cases in the 2021 Gartner Critical Capabilities for Content Services Platforms report.
