FYI, this story is more than a year old

Following the launch of its first cloud-based email security solution in Australia last year; M86 Security has announced three new solutions that the firm says range from hybrid to fully functional cloud services.

The three new solutions are the M86 Secure Web Service Hybrid, the M86 Secure Messaging Service and the M86 Security Reporter.

The Secure Web Service Hybrid was designed to address issues associated with the rise of mobile and remote user access to company networks, M86 said, while the Secure Messaging Service is described as a cloud-based SaaS solution that will combat breaches in email security for the small and medium business, enterprise and ISP markets.

The third product, the M86 Security Reporter, is an appliance-based reporting solution that incorporates the firm’s Threat Analysis Reporter and Enterprise Reporter into one appliance.

"As businesses continue to seek ways to operate more cost-effectively, the ability to run real-time and historic reporting on the same appliance lowers an organisation’s total cost of ownership through reduced maintenance and electricity costs,” said Werner Thalmeier, VP Product Management, M86 Security.  "Our M86 Security Reporter not only addresses real-time threat monitoring to expose potential security issues but furnishes administrators, department heads and security experts with historic reporting offering visibility into all Web-related user activity.”
