M86 says new announcements coming
Tue, 2nd Mar 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Jeremy Hulse, VP APAC for M86 Security, has told IT Brief that the company has several announcements planned for the year ahead.

Following this morning’s news that M86 Security had launched three new solutions that range from hybrid to fully functional cloud services, the firm’s APAC Vice President has told IT Brief that "There’s a lot in the road map for this year.”

Playing his cards close to his chest on plans for 2010, Hulse said, "There will be a fair few announcements of how we’re extending our offerings and how we’ll be building the four companies together.”

Marshal and 8e6 Technologies merged under the banner of Marshal8e6 in 2008. It went on to acquire Aventi last April and Finjan, which it acquired in November 2009. Hulse added that each organisation’s technology has its own "leading-edge solution” which keeps M86 products secure for its customers.

"There’s a very heavy R&D effort going on at the moment as we’re bringing a new suite out,” he continued. "There’s a lot on the horizon for us and it’s all about making sure that we actually deliver these products to the customer base and obviously to the channel in a way that benefits everybody in the chain.”
