Microsoft Tech.Ed claims to be New Zealand's largest and best education, training and networking event for the IT sector. This year, Tech.Ed runs from Monday 30 August to Wednesday 1 September at SkyCity Convention Centre, Auckland.

Registration for Tech.Ed 2010 is open from today, 10 May, 2010. Pricing is unchanged from last year, and a limited number of discounted Earlybird tickets are available.

Planned highlights include:

World class technical content: With 13 tracks of technical content planned and over 125 sessions, delegates will receive world class technical training. Tracks planned include: Architecture, Client, Server, Database, Development, Office - SharePoint, Security, Unified Communications, User Experience. Plus new tracks: Cloud, Windows Phone, Innovation and Business Overview.

IT "rock star" speakers: We've listened to your feedback and are seeking to bring a number of the very best technical presenters to New Zealand. Watch this space…

Hands-on-labs: A lab environment with 80 workstations to work through training courses and get hands-on with the software. This year the hands-on-labs will feature a new architecture for improved stability and performance.

New Marketplace: We're working hard to make the Tech.Ed Marketplace fantastic in 2010. A new layout, more interactive activities, new "zones" and great exhibition stands are amongst the plans.
