After all the brouhaha over the Microsoft/RIM team-up, here's some of the less-discussed news from the conference.

Native email is coming to the PlayBook, RIM's iPad competitor. Looks like it will retain a look and feel very familiar to current BB users.

There's also an Android app player for the new PlayBook, giving users access to the vast resource of Android apps. See it demo'd here.
