FYI, this story is more than a year old

The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has extended its managed ICT services agreement with Revera in a deal that will put MOT as one of the company’s ten biggest clients.Under the new agreement, Revera will continue to provide server and applications hosting, network management, 24x7 service desk support and data center services that support the Ministry’s 180 desktops and laptop PCs.MOT General Manager Claire Johnstone said that the Ministry has a solid relationship with Revera and has “taken the attitude that owning and managing infrastructure is not our core business”.She added: “What we need are good systems for our staff and someone else to manage the back office.”Over the past three years the Ministry has upgraded Windows Office, rolled out a Microsoft CRM system, introduced SharePoint and switched from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange. It is now in the process of developing a new Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDMRS) based in SharePoint with the help of local software development company Provoke.
