MTX APAC has appointed Yareev Nathan as Chief Revenue Officer, adding a former Salesforce executive to its regional leadership team.

Based in New Zealand, Nathan will work with Chief Executive Officer Sudeep Acharya and Chief Operating Officer Deven Dhaka on revenue strategy, partner relationships and sales across Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific market.

He joins MTX APAC after more than two decades in technology roles, including eight years in the Salesforce ecosystem and four years in delivery leadership. Most recently, he led Salesforce's healthcare business across the region.

The appointment comes as software vendors and consulting firms shift away from traditional licence-based sales towards consumption-based models tied to artificial intelligence, data systems and automated workflows. That change has increased the importance of closer ties between software providers, implementation partners and customers.

Nathan will focus on reshaping MTX APAC's sales and go-to-market organisation around industry specialisation, with government, healthcare and education identified as priority sectors for expansion.

MTX APAC is also increasing its use of AI-assisted delivery models in software development. The approach is being used to shorten project discovery periods and reduce implementation costs for public sector and enterprise customers.

Nathan outlined his view of the market shift in comments issued alongside the appointment.

"The entire technology landscape is undergoing a fundamental paradigm shift," said Yareev Nathan, Chief Revenue Officer, MTX APAC.

"Salesforce and the broader partner ecosystem are moving toward consumption-focused delivery powered by AI. To succeed, customers need nimble, highly capability-driven partners who can deliver value at speed. Unlike legacy GSIs with heavy delivery footprints, MTX is agile, technology-strong, and ethically grounded. By bringing my experience directly into MTX, we are making a dedicated investment to align hand-in-hand with Salesforce account teams, innovate our sales structure, and ensure our joint customers realise rapid, measurable outcomes."

Regional push

The hire is part of a broader regional expansion drive, building on recent investment in technology staff in New Zealand and local delivery operations across Australia and New Zealand.

The group has also broadened its regional presence through acquisitions. The purchase of Adapt IQ strengthened its position in the Asia-Pacific market and supported its expansion plans.

MTX APAC is a consulting and technology services firm focused on cloud software, data analytics and artificial intelligence projects. Much of its regional work has centred on sectors where large institutions and public agencies are modernising ageing systems and reworking customer and citizen service platforms.

Nathan's background in healthcare is likely to support that strategy, given the sector's reliance on large-scale system integration and the pressure on providers to improve digital access while managing costs. Government and education customers are also major buyers of long-term transformation projects, particularly in Australia and New Zealand.

For MTX APAC, the appointment signals an effort to tighten alignment with Salesforce while building a more formal revenue structure as the business grows. The move is part of its evolution from a fast-growing systems integrator into a more established regional operator.

Acharya said the leadership change was intended to support that transition.

"As MTX continues to scale across APAC, building a mature, strategic organisational structure is central to our vision," said Sudeep Acharya, Chief Executive Officer, MTX APAC.

"Yareev's deep domain expertise in healthcare, his track record in public sector technology, and his intimate understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem make him the ideal leader to drive our revenue strategy. Working alongside our executive team, Yareev will help us challenge traditional, slow-moving delivery models and bring unmatched value to our clients."
