The group's brands ALLPLAN, FRILO and SCIA will amalgamate, utilising their combined expertise and decades of experience in the AEC industry to comprehensively cover the design-to-build workflow. This will be achieved under ALLPLAN's larger brand umbrella, strengthening its position as a global leader in platform-based BIM solutions across the entire construction lifecycle.
ALLPLAN, based in Germany, is expected to enhance its portfolio and solidify its standing as a leader in platform-based BIM solutions with this merger. On the other hand, SCIA and FRILO, headquartered in Belgium and Germany respectively, see from this coalition an opportunity for invigorating innovation and offering robust end-to-end design-to-build workflows. This synchronised effort also involves a unified go-to-market strategy to expedite adoption of data-driven multi-material design and prefabrication, delivering significant productivity enhancements for customers.

Chief Division Officer Planning & Design and Digital Twin at Nemetschek, Csar Flores Rodrguez, explained that the merger provided an opportunity to enhance their business with a unified go-to-market strategy and a joint product roadmap. Moreover, the three companies share a strong specific customer focus, so they fit together very well."
Dr. Detlef Schneider, CEO of ALLPLAN, emphasised the unique possibility offered to the company through the merger.
