FYI, this story is more than a year old

Ndevr has created new greenhouse gas management and reporting capabilities for use with Oracle Applications.

Ndevr's GHG Accounting Software for International mandatory and voluntary environmental reporting schemes, such as Australia’s National Greenhouse Energy Reporting (NGER) legislation, and the GHG Protocol, is now pre-integrated with both the Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle’s JD Edwards EntepriseOne financials applications.

The solution provides additional data capture, analysis and presentation capabilities that help organisations assess their current carbon footprint, comply with internal and external reporting standards and work on implementing more energy-efficient solutions.

“We’ve worked with Oracle for many years and are pleased to be able to extend that relationship through our GHG Accounting Software,” said Maureen Clifford, Chief Executive Officer & Director, Ndevr.

Ian Wade, Executive General Manager, Thiess, added, "With energy intensive operations across the mining, construction and engineering industries, we have always carefully managed our greenhouse gas and energy consumption figures. Before we had the Oracle and Ndevr solution in place, this was a very time consuming and costly process that required us to download data from our JD Edwards system and manipulate it in Excel. That process would take months, but with the integration, we can now view and use greenhouse gas and energy figures for each of our facilities on a daily basis.”
