NorthgateArinso picks up Convergys HR division

The HR and software services provider has said it is to strengthen its business with the acquisition of the HR management division of Convergys.

The transaction is said to be worth around US$85 million in cash and US$15 million in cash over three years. The deal will see NorthgateArinso acquire the assets, including the global HR service delivery network and entire customer portfolio, of Convergys’ HR Management division.

NorthgateArinso believes that Convergys’ HR outsourcing customers will benefit from NorthgateArinso’s focus on HR software and services.

Mike Ettling, CEO at NorthgateArinso, said, “We will be working very closely with Convergys’ customers over the next few weeks to ensure they continue to receive the same quality of service and truly understand the benefits of being a customer of the NorthgateArinso family.”

Last month, NorthGateArinso bought the Australian HR and payroll solution provider, Neller Pty in order to boost its presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
