Optic Security Group promotes Auckland Staff to NZ Leadership Roles
Optic Security Group, a prominent player in the security sector, has unveiled the names of its new leaders for key managerial roles in Aotearoa New Zealand. Nik Boeinghoff has been elevated to the position of National Sales Manager, while David Sodergren has been appointed as National Operations Manager.
Nik Boeinghoff, who will be based in Auckland, joined Optic Security Group in early 2022 as a Key Account Manager. With a rich background in sales and account management, Boeinghoff has previously held senior roles in several large organizations, such as Bosch, Signature Security Group, and Rentokil Initial. His passion for delivering world-class services to clients through communication, meaningful customer relationships, and innovation is evident in his statement: "It's all about building rapport with our customers to the extent that we become their trusted adviser as opposed to just selling security."
David Sodergren is a 20-year veteran in the security and technology spectrum, having assumed various senior international management roles, including Engineering Manager at Gallagher Security. Before his promotion to National Operations Manager, Sodergren joined Optic Security Group as Technical Operations Manager in 2022. His experience in developing complex solutions in some of the most security-conscious environments globally makes him an excellent fit for his new role.
Optic Security Group CEO Ferzad Bharucha expressed enthusiasm about the recent promotions. He lauded Nik's capability, saying, "I'm excited about Nik taking up the lead role in developing Optic's key customer relationships in Aotearoa. He is an amazing asset to the Group and to our customers." Ferzad also praised David's qualification, stating, "It's great to also see Dave step into the National Operations Manager role. Having developed complex solutions for clients in some of the most security-conscious environments globally, he comes extremely well qualified for the role."
The promotions are not just recognition of individual skills and talents, but also an embodiment of Optic Security Group's commitment to nurturing and rewarding talent within the organization. "Ultimately, it's a real pleasure to be able to reward and promote talent within the organisation," Ferzad adds, reflecting the ethos of the company. "Our ability to promote from within our own ranks is a testament to the depth of capability and commitment we have."
The appointment of Boeinghoff and Sodergren is likely to further bolster Optic Security Group's position in the industry. With their experience and forward-thinking approach, they are poised to lead the company to new heights in delivering top-notch security solutions.
