Optimizer HQ hires marketing officer in post-float push
Tue, 13th Dec 2011
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Auckland-based cloud software company Optimizer HQ has appointed a new chief marketing officer in a push to take advantage of its public listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

Online marketing entrepreneur Cornelis Boertjens says he took up the Optimizer HQ role after hearing the ‘inspirational’ story of the business and its CEO, Manas Kumar.

"As CMO my number one priority is to make Optimizer HQ a globally recognised brand,” Boertjens says, "and a force to be reckoned with.

"My aim is to make it one of New Zealand’s prime examples of how we as a nation are able to build very successful companies listed on global stock exchanges.”

The appointment is part of a recruitment drive begun two weeks ago when the company first listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, or Deutsche Börse.

The company has hinted at more big news to come, promising on its LinkedIn page, ‘we’ll surprise a bunch of people’.
