Orcon has confirmed the internet outage in Wellington Central which occurred over the weekend is now resolved.
A hardware failure left 245 Orcon customers without access to the internet on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
Orcon CEO Greg McAlister says the company sincerely apologises for any inconvenience this caused its residential and business customers.
“We understand how important the internet is for our customers," McAlister told TechDay.com via an emailed statement this afternoon.
"Unfortunately hardware failures do occur and we try our best to fix issues as quickly as possible.”
