Overtime & Authvia join up on receivables payments

Overtime and Authvia have formed a partnership focused on accounts receivable, combining consumer engagement tools with digital payment technology.
Under the arrangement, Overtime will integrate Authvia's payment orchestration system into its receivables platform. The combined offering is designed to let organisations manage consumer conversations and payment collection within the same interaction across voice, SMS and other digital channels.
The partnership addresses a longstanding issue in collections, where communication and payment often sit in separate systems. By linking those stages, the companies aim to give accounts receivable teams a single process from initial contact through payment resolution.
The approach targets sectors including collections, financial services and healthcare, where organisations often manage large volumes of consumer accounts and face pressure to recover balances while reducing friction in the payment process.
Integrated process
According to the companies, Authvia's technology supports multiple payment processors and payment methods. The integration will sit within Overtime's AI-based receivables platform, which is used for collections, receivables and healthcare interactions.
The arrangement is intended to support payments during the same conversation in which a consumer is contacted, rather than moving the person to a separate payment channel. In practice, an organisation could engage a consumer through an AI voice system, text message or another digital touchpoint and enable payment within that exchange.
The move reflects broader changes in the receivables market, where companies are adapting to consumer expectations for more flexible ways to communicate and settle balances. Businesses across the sector have increasingly invested in automation and digital payment tools as call centres and collections teams seek to improve response rates and reduce manual workloads.
For Overtime, the partnership expands the payment options available through its platform. For Authvia, it places its payment software inside a system built around receivables workflows and consumer outreach.
Executive comments
Dan Kutchel, Chief Executive Officer of Overtime, outlined how the company views the shift in collections.
"Collections is evolving from a fragmented, transactional process into a connected consumer experience. By bringing conversations and payments together, organizations can make resolution easier and more positive for everyone involved," said Dan Kutchel, Chief Executive Officer, Overtime.
"Together with Authvia, we're helping organizations automate the entire consumer journey from conversation to payment, making payments simpler for consumers and improving outcomes for our clients," Kutchel said.
Chris Brunner, Chief Executive Officer of Authvia, said the partnership is intended to change how consumers interact with receivables teams.
"We're excited to partner with Overtime to modernize accounts receivable and reshape consumer experiences," said Chris Brunner, Chief Executive Officer, Authvia.
"For too long, collections has been defined by friction-for consumers, agents and organizations alike. By combining Overtime's AI platform with Authvia's conversational payment technology, we're bringing a more intelligent, connected and consumer-friendly solution to market that helps organizations improve engagement, simplify payments and drive better outcomes," Brunner said.
Sector push
The tie-up comes as software providers in receivables and payments compete for demand from organisations seeking more digital ways to contact customers and collect outstanding balances. Collections operations have traditionally relied on agents, separate billing systems and disconnected payment processes, which can slow resolution and increase abandonment.
Healthcare is one of the most closely watched areas in that shift because patients often face a mix of statements, billing contacts and payment channels. Financial services and third-party collections agencies are also under pressure to improve communication options while maintaining secure payment handling.
Both companies are positioning the joint product around those needs. Overtime describes its platform as an AI-native receivables system used by collection agencies, creditors, financial institutions and healthcare groups, while Authvia focuses on sending, receiving and managing payments across messaging, voice, web and other digital channels.
The integrated product will support secure conversational payments embedded into consumer interactions and provide a single link between outreach and payment resolution, according to the companies.
