Ping Identity snaps up new marketing exec from Intel

Ping Identity, the Identity Defined Security company, has named Kevin Sellers as global chief marketing officer.

As the latest executive to join the business, Sellers brings more than 20 years of experience in brand and marketing to the leadership team.

In his new role, Sellers leads all aspects of the company's marketing. According to a statement his primary focus will be to help expand the brand globally, expanding in the enterprise market.

Seller's experience in the area comes predominately from the technology space, where he specialised in working with a team to help scale global brands.

His knowledge of the marketing functions includes brand leadership, demand generation, digital marketing and transformation, and corporate communications.

Prior to joining Ping Identity, Sellers served as the chief marketing officer at Avnet, where he oversaw the company's business-to-business strategies.

Sellers also held multiple leadership positions at Intel. During his tenure with the company, he led the re-branding that aimed to develop Intel beyond its core personal computer market, and launched the Look Inside campaign, which received various recognition and accolades.

Sellers himself has garnered recognition in the industry, including winning B2B Magazines Top Digital Marketers Award and multiple Cannes Lions, EFFY and ADDY awards for creative excellence.
