FYI, this story is more than a year old

The New Zealand-based company will unveil its enterprise search solution at the Sharepoint Conference 2009 in Las Vegas and the tool can be embedded in the upcoming release of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010.

“The intelligent enterprise search tool that can embedded into the upcoming release of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 will take the browsing out of browsing,” said Peter Wren-Hilton, Pingar’s co-founder and Managing Director.

The company was accepted into the Microsoft Start-up Accelerator Program in the UK last year and its global debut is at the Las Vegas conference.

“Pingar shares Microsoft’s vision to offer solutions with significant productivity and cost-savings for enterprises,” said Owen Allen, Sharepoint Senior Product Manager at Microsoft.

He added: “Smarter searching and content management is an integral part of the efficiencies offered by SharePoint Server 2010.”

The Pingar search solution goes inside data documents to find the content the user is seeking and then place it into a dynamically-generated PDF or XPS document and sorts the search into categories to minimise reading time.
