Portnox Cloud now available in Microsoft Azure Marketplace
Portnox, a provider of cloud-native, zero trust access control solutions, has announced that its Portnox Cloud service is now available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. This development will enable Microsoft Azure customers to utilise Portnox Cloud, leveraging Azure's scalability, reliability, and agility for enhanced application development and business strategy formulation.
Portnox's inclusion in the Azure Marketplace offers mid-market and enterprise clients an array of security features. These features include passwordless authentication, access control, endpoint risk monitoring, and remediation policies for networks, applications, and infrastructure. The integration aims to streamline deployment and management, offering an efficient solution for companies with varying IT needs.
Denny LeCompte, CEO of Portnox, stated, "We enjoy working closely with Microsoft and are very proud to be a Microsoft Gold Cloud Platform and a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association. Being available on the Azure Marketplace further cements our commitment to providing customers with robust protection against cyber threats."
Jake Zborowski, General Manager of Microsoft Azure Platform at Microsoft, expressed his support for the new addition. He highlighted that "Azure Marketplace and trusted partners like Portnox help customers do more with less by increasing efficiency, buying confidently, and spending smarter."
The Portnox Cloud delivers critical zero trust access control and cybersecurity essentials, designed to address modern security challenges. These include the rapid expansion of enterprise networks without traditional perimeters, an increase in connected device types, the growing complexity of cyber-attacks, and the shift toward zero trust security models.
This cloud-native security platform provides several key functionalities, including RADIUS authentication, Network Access Control (NAC), infrastructure administration, and Conditional Access for Applications. It enables customers to deploy zero trust network authentication quickly across both wired and wireless networks. The platform's scalable zero trust NAC is suitable for distributed environments and can be set up in a matter of minutes. Additionally, it offers powerful AAA (Authentication, Authorisation, and Accounting) services through its cloud-native TACACS+ solution. Portnox's Conditional Access for Applications further extends its security capabilities to both enterprise SaaS and on-premises applications.
Portnox Cloud offers integrations with various tools and platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, Jamf, Google Workspace, Okta, and JumpCloud. Portnox's participation in the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) and its certifications, such as SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001, underscore its commitment to high-security standards.
The Azure Marketplace serves as an online hub for buying and selling cloud solutions certified for use on Azure. It connects companies seeking innovative cloud-based solutions with partners who have ready-to-use offerings.
