Radware launches DNSaaS & NoKey to boost cloud services

Thu, 25th Jul 2024

Radware has expanded its cloud services with the introduction of a new Domain Name System as a Service (DNSaaS) and NoKey solutions aimed at enhancing application delivery, security, and performance. The new offerings are designed to provide organisations with greater control and flexibility over their digital assets.

“Investing in DNSaaS and NoKey is about safeguarding an organisation's digital presence and ensuring a seamless user experience,” said Gabi Malka, Radware’s chief operations officer. “The addition of these services to our security portfolio further reinforces and enriches our integrated platform approach to application and network security and creates even more conveniences for our customers.”

The DNSaaS service joins Radware’s broader suite of cloud application delivery services, which includes a Content Delivery Network (CDN), Load Balancer as a Service, and a Network Analytics Service. The new service aims to provide exceptional reliability, comprehensive management tools, and advanced security measures, ensuring applications remain available, performant, and protected.

Chris Rodriguez, IDC's research manager for cyber security products, highlighted the growing complexity in managing application security and delivery. “Organisations are seeking consolidated solutions that are comprehensive and easy to integrate across diverse technology stacks and disparate environments,” he said. "Radware DNSaaS is more than just a tool for managing domain names and ensuring online availability. As part of Radware's cloud application delivery services, it provides organisations an easy way to manage application security and infrastructure in one place while lowering operational overhead.”

The DNSaaS offering includes several features:

  • A centralised management console with an easy-to-use interface for managing all DNS hosts, records, and health check configurations in one place.
  • Customisable health checks that can be set and configured to continuously monitor the status of application sources.
  • Flexible record routing options for high availability.
  • Control over traffic distribution to specific resources or endpoints to improve latency and user experience.
  • Real-time analytics that monitor the number of queries per hosted zone.

The NoKey solution is designed to route encrypted traffic through Radware’s Cloud Application Protection Service without exposing or relinquishing control of SSL keys. The solution integrates with third-party hardware security modules (HSMs). This integration offers customers the ability to manage their private key storage to match technological requirements, business priorities, and privacy needs while leveraging the comprehensive protection of Radware’s solution.
