FYI, this story is more than a year old

Microsoft's annual TechEd conference is coming for another year, with registrations now open for the September event.

This year's conference will run for four days instead of three, from September 4 to 7 (Tuesday to Friday), with the keynote session to be held late in the afternoon on day 1.

Other new elements include interactive ‘birds of a feather' sessions where delegates can engage with key experts, and Microsoft certification and exam sessions for guests wanting to boost their skills.

TechFest, the official conference party, will be held on the Thursday night, at The Cloud on Auckland's Queens Wharf.

Prospective attendees can also make submissions for the types of content they'd like to see at the conference.
