Report: Cloud computing is fastest growing tech

According to an IDC report, cloud computing is becoming the fastest growing technology within the high tech sectors.
An IDC report predicts that SaaS deployment will experience an annual growth rate of 22% through to 2013 and expects nearly 45% of US firms to spend at least 25% of their budget on the technology.
IDC has also said that initial concerns over security, response time, and service availability have diminished for many organisations, leading to greater adoption.
Key growth drivers are said to include product sophistication, strained IT budgets, rapid deployment, reduced complexity, global accessibility, reduced IT costs and scalability.
