RIM loses local boss
Long-time Research In Motion staffer Ray Gillenwater has left the company, just three months after being promoted to the role of ANZ managing director.
The BlackBerry maker has named former ANZ marketing director Matthew Ball to fill the role. In his previous role, Ball would presumably have been closely involved with the controversial ‘wake up’ campaign that drew global attention in May this year.
Gillenwater is said to have left the company ‘to pursue other opportunities’. He was appointed following the departure of Adele Beachley in April, having been with the company since 2007.
