Samsung Galaxy Tab sells 600k

Wed, 24th Nov 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Samsung has said that it’s sold more than 600,000 units of its new Galaxy Tab around the world (except in New Zealand) in just one month.

The company says that it’s on track to reach its target of having sold one million by the end of 2010.

“We believe tablet PCs will take over a bigger portion of the market next year,” Samsung’s mobile division head Shin Jong-kyun said back in September. “For this year, we’re projecting to sell up to one million units.”

We’ve contacted Samsung in New Zealand about a release for the Galaxy Tab, which will be available through Vodafone, but there’s no official release date yet.
