Samsung schedules Android and Windows event
Wed, 29th May 2013
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Samsung will hold an event in London next month, where the South Korean giant is expected to launch new devices.

Inviting the press to its "Samsung Premiere 2013" on June 20, the company looks set to reveal updates on both Android and Windows products.

Scheduled at Earls Court, London, Samsung will introduce new Galaxy and Ativ devices - which comes ten days after Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference.

So with Samsung set for a new product launch and Apple expected to showcase iOS 7 and OS X 10.9, June will be a defining period for the industry rivals.

After launching the Samsung Galaxy S4 earlier this year and the Galaxy Note 8.0, Samsung continues a year of product releases as the company ramps up efforts across all markets.

Samsung fans can view the new smartphones, tablets and hybrids during a live streaming of the event on Samsung's YouTube channel, check out the link here.
