Sekuro first to offer Zero Trust Strategy on AWS Marketplace
Thu, 15th Feb 2024

Sekuro, a provider of cybersecurity and digital resiliency solutions, has made its Zero Trust Strategy services available on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace. This move marks Sekuro as the first organisation to offer Zero Trust Strategy consulting services on the AWS platform, in collaboration with notable vendors CrowdStrike, Zscaler, and Okta, under Sekuro's Zero Trust Alliance initiative.

The consulting service, described as a detailed technical cybersecurity assessment, aligns Sekuro's digital transformation pathways with tailored customer solutions, seeking to ensure maximum protection for every user on any device, at any location. This initiation comes at a time when security budgets have seen significant increases; about four-fifths of globally surveyed organisations acknowledge an uptick in allocations towards security initiatives. Notably, the launch corresponds with a newly invigorated scrutiny on cybersecurity by the Australian Government and its pursuit to cultivate a national Zero Trust culture.

Sekuro recognises the incorporation of endpoint and data protection, along with identity and network access, as critical elements for a successful Zero Trust Strategy. Its concerted focus on these areas allows for faster value delivery. Hence, it has purposefully established the Zero Trust Alliance with the global vendors who offer leading solutions to these issues.

With this innovation, Sekuro states it is focused on creating a path for easier access and management of security services. Jason Trampevski, CTO at Sekuro commented: "In the face of increased cyber awareness, we know that security budgets have remained resilient against market forces. We've also seen Zero Trust shift from a concept to an actionable strategy." He also highlighted how companies seek value from their security budgets and a need for cost transparency and efficiency in vendor engagement and billing processes.

He added: "The ability to purchase software licensing to support our Zero Trust Strategy on AWS Marketplace helps organisations increase the ROI of their tech investments whilst helping to build resilience against evolving threats."

Sekuro's Zero Trust Strategy, devised entirely in-house, combines the Alliance's advanced technology with Sekuro's local expertise for an integrated solution. It suits organisations of all digital maturity levels and comes with tailored assessment, along with optional implementation and ongoing support. Notably, Sekuro's partner solutions, comprising products from CrowdStrike, Okta, and Zscaler, are synergistic with AWS cloud capabilities.

Phil Goldie, Vice President and Managing Director at Okta Australia and New Zealand, lauded the "proactive and robust security measures" by the Zero Trust Alliance. Similarly, Jon Fox, vice president of Channel APJ at CrowdStrike, commended Sekuro's modern solutions to counter the intensifying cybercrime scenario, while Foad Farrokhnia, Vice President, Channels & Alliances, Asia Pacific & Japan at Zscaler, applauded the novel collaboration that facilitates easy procurement and increased security.
