Thu, 7th Oct 2021
FYI, this story is more than a year old

AI-driven cloud platform Sisense has announced the appointment of Paul Scholey as vice president of International Sales and Kristina Agassi as general counsel.

The appointments come during a growth surge for the company, which now has $140 million in annual recurring revenue, 75% attributed to its infusing analytics strategy. The company is seeing 30% growth in targeted strategic accounts, helping global knowledge workers that need to go beyond the dashboard and embed insights into their customer and employee-facing apps and workflows.

According to Gartner, 51% of global knowledge workers are expected to work remotely by the end of 2021. With over 1 billion global knowledge workers in different locations using different tools and apps to do their jobs, demand is high for more personalised and customised analytics.

"Thousands of companies use the Sisense Fusion platform to transform their business and product offerings with AI-powered, infused insights," says Sisense CEO, Amir Orad.

"Our appointment of Paul and Kristina comes at a time of dynamic growth and further expands our mission to help businesses drive more value to their customers."

Paul Scholey will lead Sisense's international sales, tapping his extensive experience in business intelligence and SaaS, focusing on growing and scaling early to mid-stage SaaS businesses. Previously, he served as vice president and general manager of International Sales at BlueJeans, where he scaled the international business across Europe, Asia and Japan.

Before that, he ran the analytics businesses of Oracle in the UK and served as vice president of International at Pentaho in the UK, where he grew Pentaho's international business 500% in five years.

"I am energised to join the Sisense team, so I can further expand the global business and build a world-class team that supports our customers to break analytic barriers and win in their respective markets," says Scholey.

As general counsel, Kristina Agassi will oversee Sisense's legal, compliance and governance functions, drawing on over a dozen years of experience in the legal field. Previously, she was group vice president and deputy general counsel at Zeta, a global marketing SaaS company with a data-driven cloud platform, leading the company through its IPO and managing acquisitions and divestitures, international operations, commercial transactions, financings, and more.

"I'm excited to join Sisense during this growth acceleration stage," says Agassi. "I look forward to collaborating with leaders across the company to help drive business innovation and produce the best outcomes for our customers."
