Slingshot has announced problems with their internet service as some customers struggle with a broadband and calling outage.

The internet service provider revealed the problem on Twitter just after midday, tweeting:

"Network team are working on some issues at the moment if your phone isn't working or the internet is slow this will be fixed shortly."

The issue was first raised on the social media site around 15 minutes prior however with the company saying:

"Some customers may have experienced an outage for broadband and calling, this should have been resolved now - sorry!"
