SmartBear appoints Ron Trackey as new Senior Vice President

SmartBear has recently announced the appointment of Ron Trackey as the new Senior Vice President of Product Management and Design.

Ron Trackey brings over three decades of global expertise from his previous roles at RSA, Carbonite, and Microsoft. This appointment signals a strategic move to advance the company's product portfolio and user experience.

Most recently, Trackey served as Vice President, Product Management at Digital.ai, where he focused on automating software delivery workflows for Global 5000 enterprises. His career has also included significant positions such as Vice President of Product at Carbonite and Senior Director of Product Management, Fraud, and Authentication at RSA Security. At Microsoft, he was instrumental in delivering pioneering mobile voice search and mapping applications for Bing during his nearly 15-year tenure.

Dan Faulkner, the Chief Product Officer at SmartBear, emphasised the importance of Trackey's role in the company. Trackey's experience aligns with SmartBear's mission to empower testers, developers, and DevOps teams globally. At Digital.ai, he led initiatives intended to assist enterprise customers in managing software delivery. At Carbonite, he managed product teams focused on innovation, and at RSA Security, he oversaw critical technologies aimed at tackling consumer fraud and authentication. His tenure at Microsoft marked significant advances in product and development leadership roles.
