FYI, this story is more than a year old

Next week Wellington will host the inaugural New Zealand Visual Studio ALM Conference for two days commencing on April 6th.

This two day conference is poised to become the premier developer conference in New Zealand and will attract a large number of IT professional involved in software development.

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) is a continuous process of managing the life of an application through governance, development and maintenance. ALM seeks to increase the total ROI of an application by examining all aspects of a project including requirements management, architecture, coding, testing, tracking, and release management.

The conference features a number of high profile presenters, with both local and international speakers on the agenda. There will be keynotes on both days and two tracks of breakout session with one focusing on ALM and the other on Visual Studio topics.

To close the two-day conference, four of the presenters will participate in "The Great IT Debate” which is sure to provide a light hearted and entertaining finish to a feature packed agenda.

Microsoft is on board as the event’s platinum sponsor and is committed to supporting the event.

The event is being held in the recently renovated Amora Hotel which many will remember as the Duxton Hotel but may not recognise due to the upgrades.
