Sony Mobile Communications has today announced the arrival of its latest handset, the Xperia E4. Available today, with operator exclusivity through Spark, Sony says the Xperia E4 offers ease-of-use, big screen entertainment and up to two-day battery life.

“We wanted to offer people some of the premium Sony features they have come to expect - with unparalleled ease of use - at a highly-competitive price point,” says Peter McKeon, managing director Oceania at Sony Mobile Communications.

“With a simple set-up, great screen and unrivalled two-day battery life, the Xperia E4 is an on-the-go entertainment device that will keep on going, wherever you are,” he says.

“Xperia E4 is built to ensure that you enjoy a smartphone that's easy to use, with quick access to your favourite apps and user-friendly experience,” Sony Mobile Communications says in a statement.

The phone's camera features include Auto Scene Recognition, image enhancing features and camera apps built in.

“People want a variety and options for their smartphones, and the Sony Xperia E4 does exactly that, joining a stable of standout Sony devices exclusively on Spark,” says Jason Paris, general manager, Spark Home, Mobile, and Business.

“The impressive battery life, powerful five inch screen, high quality camera, and the affordable price point not only gives people more choice for high-quality smartphones, but also great value for money,” he says.

The Xperia E4 joins a range of Sony Mobile phones currently available through Spark, including the Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact, Xperia M2 and Xperia E1.

The Xperia E4 is available today in white through Spark stores and Spark's website for RRP $199 or up to $8.30/month over 24 months on any Ultra Open plan. The Xperia E4 will also be available on the Spark network through selected retailers.
