Superloop has announced the expansion of its contract with Ixom, extending its partnership for an additional three years until at least 2028. The water treatment and chemical distribution company will benefit from an extensive Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) security solution across more than 40 locations globally.

The high-availability global network designed and managed by Superloop is powered by Palo Alto Networks and includes a robust suite of security services. These services feature Prisma Access, Zero Trust Network Access, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Autonomous Digital Experience Management (ADEM), ensuring comprehensive protection for Ixom's operations.

Superloop's network supports Ixom's far-reaching presence, including coverage in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, China, and the USA. This expanded contract underscores a commitment to providing dual internet services connected to Palo Alto Networks' Prisma SD-WAN, enhancing the security and efficiency of Ixom's network infrastructure.

Daisey Stampfer, Superloop Group Executive for Business & Wholesale, expressed enthusiasm about the strengthened partnership. "Our goal has always been to deliver a solution that supports Ixom's need for flexibility while taking no shortcuts on security. The SASE solution deployed for Ixom simplifies, scales, and cost-effectively secures their network, ensuring a seamless user experience," she said. Stampfer also commended the Superloop team, citing the extension as a testament to their excellent service and commitment to supporting Australian businesses.

Ixom's Chief Information Officer, Chris Cawood, highlighted the positive impact of Superloop's integrated network solution, emphasizing the enhanced data network performance and operations brought by the partnership with Palo Alto Networks. "Superloop's integrated network solution has significantly bolstered our organisation's performance. The robust security, secure cloud access, and ease of management are particularly beneficial. This partnership has truly transformed our network landscape," Cawood remarked.

The expanded contract demonstrates a shared vision between Superloop and Ixom, aiming for continued innovation and security in network management. Superloop's offerings leverage its physical infrastructure assets, including fibre, subsea cables, and fixed wireless, alongside its software platforms. This synergy ensures the delivery of reliable connectivity and security solutions to a broad range of customers.
